This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Cattle gaining momentum with the Feeder Market but traders eagerly awaiting the election to make their next move. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 9, to finish at 607 ½. Dec. Corn dn 1, to close at 397 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 11 ¾, to settle at 553.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were Unch – Up 5, ranging from 6-00 to 6-25. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 10 ¼, ranging from 7-03 to 7-08. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-90 to 6-10. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were up 3 ¾, ranging from 6-89 to 7-04.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.25, closing at 108.55. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.07 ½, to finish the day at 134.05. Nov. Class III milk was dn $.10, at 23.80.
