This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Grains looking stronger, as wheat surges higher for the 4th day in a row, breaking into $6 levels. Virginia McGathey with the CME Group, shares more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 14 ¾, to finish at 607 ½. Dec. Corn up 3 ¾, to close at 388 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 10 ¼, to close at 544 ½ .

Club Wheat of Ordinary Protein was Unch, ranging from 5-80 to 5-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Nov. were up 10 ¼, ranging from 6-89 ½ to 7-19 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Dec. ended the day UNCH, ranging from 5-65 to 5-95. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were up 11, ranging from 6-69 ¼ to 6-94 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $1.15, closing at 113.10. Nov. Feeder cattle were up $.35, to finish the day at 137.87 ½. Nov. Class III milk was dn $.23, at 19.36.
