This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Beef finished the week on a downtrend, cattle as a whole saw uncertainty in the market. Lets go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday dn 5 ½, to finish at 544 ¼. Dec. Corn up 1 ¾, to close the day at 365 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 7 ¾, to close at 475 ¼.

Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were dn 7 ¾, ranging from 6-30 ¼ to 6-50 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Nov. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-65 to 5-70. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were dn 5, ranging from 6-49 ¾ to 6-64 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.87 ½, closing at 111.40. Nov. Feeder cattle were dn $2.20, to finish the day at 140.15. Oct. Class III milk was up $.73, at 18.88.
