This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Cattle saw lower numbers yesterday, partially due to DOW’s fall out which had a trickle effect. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday dn 20 ¼, to finish at 554 ¾. Dec. Corn dn 8 ¾, to close the day at 369 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 17, to close at 487 ¼.

Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were dn 17, ranging from 6-42 ¼ to 6-62 ¼. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the week up 2 to Unch, ranging from 5-45 to 5-55. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 31 ½ to 16 ½, to settle at 6-64 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $1.25, closing at 110.60. Nov. Feeder cattle up $.20, to finish the day at 142.72 ½. Nov. Class III milk was up $.28, at 18.98.
