This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Grains higher across the board, Soybeans and Corn leading the way while Wheat follows suit. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday up 3 ¾, to finish at 542. Dec. Corn up 5 ¾, to close the day at 371 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 7, to close at 475.

Portland prices for Club Wheat of Ordinary protein was Unch, ranging from 5-65 to 5-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were up 7, ranging from 6-30 to 6-50. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-25 to 5-50. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 7 ¼, to settle at 6-66 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.37 ½, closing at 111.95. Oct. Feeder cattle dn $1.27 ½, to finish the day at 142.42 ½. Oct. Class III milk was up $.22, at 18.89.
