This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Corn continues to hold ground on the 200 day moving average, as wheat struggles to close higher. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday dn 7 ½, to finish at 538 ¼. Dec. Corn dn 3 ½, to close the day at 366. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 5 ½, to close at 468.

Portland prices for Club Wheat of Ordinary protein was Unch, ranging from 5-65 to 5-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were dn 5 ½, ranging from 6-23 to 6-43. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-25 to 5-50. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 6 ¼, to settle at 6-59 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.12 ½, closing at 111.57 ½. Oct. Feeder cattle up $1.10, to finish the day at 143.70. Oct. Class III milk was dn $.56, at 18.67.
