This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Overall, grains holding strong considering all the challenges the markets are dealing with right now. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear the details.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed Yesterday dn 6, to finish at 544 ¼. Dec. Corn up 3 ¾, to close yesterday at 361 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 3, to close at 469 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat of Ordinary protein was Unch, ranging from 5-70 to 5-72. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were dn 3, ranging from 6 -24 ½ to 6-29 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the day Unch to dn 5, ranging from 5-25 to 5-45. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 6 ¼, ranging from 6-36 ¼ to 6-61 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were up $1.32 ½, closing at 105.77 ½. Oct. Feeder cattle up $1.35, to finish yesterday at 139.85. Oct. Class III milk was dn $.08, at 18.81.
