This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. After yesterday’s market came to a close, soybeans hit a rough patch while Wheat found its pace ahead of the pack. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday up 11 ¾, to finish at 564. Dec. Corn up ¼, to finish the day at 358. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 10 ¼, to close at 485 ½.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Dec. ended the day Unch to up 2, ranging from 5-35 to 5-44. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were up 20 ¼ to 10 ¼, ranging from 6 -40 ½ to 6-45 ½. Prices for Club Wheat of Ordinary protein ranging from 5-35 to 5-72. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 6 ¾, ranging from 6-46 ¼ to 6-71 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were up $.17 ½, closing at 105.47 ½. Oct. Feeder cattle up $.01 ½, to finish the day at 140.65. Oct. Class III milk was up $.41, at 18.27.
