This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle hitting a hard patch as prices continued to dip lower at the end of the week. Let’s go to Greg Sanders with the USDA Weekly report.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed Friday dn 2, to finish at 548 ¾. Dec. Corn up ¾, to finish the week at 359 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Unch, to close at 472 ¼.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-25 to 5-42. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were unch, ranging from 6 -17 ¼ to 6-32 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 1 ¼, ranging from 6-39 ¼ to 6-64 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were dn $1.25, closing at 104.90. Oct. Feeder cattle dn $.97 ½, to finish the week at 140.17 ½. Oct. Class III milk was up $.29, at 17.64.
