This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn takes the cake today, as numbers soared higher after yesterday’s USDA Report. Scott Shellady, with the CME Group shares the details.

Chicago Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day up 5 ½, to finish at 496 ¾.

Dec. Corn rallies up 11 ½ yesterday, to finish the day at 338 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 7 ¼, to close the day at 425.

Portland prices for soft white wheat for Sep. ended the day unch, ranging from 5-40 to 5-52. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Sept. were up 7 ¼, ranging from 5-60 to 5-75. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 4, ranging from 6-11 to 6-36.

Live Cattle for Oct. were up $.57 ½, closing at 110.15. Oct. Feeder cattle up $.62 ½, to finish yesterday at 148.47 ½. Sept. Class III milk was up $.30, at 16.59.
