**While the U.S. continues to pursue trade agreements with Kenya and the UK, negotiations have run into a pandemic delay.

The U.S. and Kenya recently began trade talks, but last week, the two countries temporarily paused negotiations due to concerns that Kenyan officials were possibly exposed to COVID.

In late April, National Pork Producers Council made it clear a trade deal between the two countries has the potential for a significant increase in U.S. Pork demand, but import duties and all non-tariff barriers on U.S. pork need to be fully eliminated.

The American Farm Bureau says the pandemic has brought "steep challenges" as farmers and ranchers react to unprecedented changes in markets and supply chains.

The USDA tells agweb.com, private exporters sold over 1.9-million tons of corn to China for delivery in the 2020/21 marketing year, topping the previous biggest deal to China of 1.76 million ton two weeks earlier.
