From red tides to toxic algae blooms to beaches covered with dead fish, Florida’s waterways and its frequenters have been fighting an uphill battle for years. Now, anglers, captains, conservationists, and politicians are promoting efforts to save the sunshine state’s legendary fisheries, and for the first time in years, there’s hope that these spots can be saved.
