Going modern down on the farm, The President of News at scoring ag dot com. William Kanitz says a new decade of electrification is here for farming.

I think what's happening is that electric agriculture had not really been pushing, had not seen the benefits of electric until they seen the car industry. Now the car industry of course is gonna have pickups, everything from electric excavators to pay loaders, electric lawnmowers now. I had a discussion with some of the big TMR people here in the United States, like Pats out of Wisconsin there that make TMR’s for the dairy and beef communities, looking at electric. So they actually come up with an electric farm and so the whole whole farm, the farmer becomes the producer of the power that he uses by putting in the either solar or solar and wind mix and a solar array or wind collection there because wind doesn't blow all the time. And guess what? The solar doesn't work usually. But when you have a cloudy day, you usually have windy day and vice versa. When the sun shines, there isn’t too much wind. The analysis was that a farmer could actually cut his cost of production large amounts and that electrical generation on the farm can be used to power up electrical farm equipment.
