Bully pulpit. The noun bully Is defined as "a blustering, browbeating person” and I am going to include coward in that definition. Here's where I am going. I have never been a big fan of social media because of my personal experiences with my children. In the early days of their lives they got on mySpace in an attempt to interact with other kids their age. It resulted in all kinds of nasty remarks coming in from their want-to-be friends and their mother and I had to endure the tragedy of seeing them go through endless bullying. You would not see that when people come eye to eye. Only through the anonymity and social buffer of a computer, would other kids be confrontational and mean.

Sportsmen, now this bullying has landed in your realm and it was just a matter of time. I was reading the outdoor section of the paper the other day when I saw an article about a proud dad and his son who had posted pictures I of a deer and a bear that they had harvested while hunting. Needless to say, after posting their triumphs they were assaulted by all kinds of people without backbones. You can imagine the types of animal activists who took aim at our father/son team and try not to imagine the content of the written assaults.
