We're at the big Almond Industry Conference today, and if you haven't shown up yet, it's not too late to register. Jenny Nicolau is Senior Manager of Industry Relations and Communications at the Almond Board of California. She says it's not too late to register for the big almond industry conference.

“Anyone who forgot to preregister for the almond conference, it's not too late to attend. We encourage onsite registration," said Nicolau. "Get to the Cal Expo site, and the biggest thing to remember is that if you are not taking the shuttle, parking is $10 cash only. So it's essential that folks use the shuttle service or have cash on them, and it's completely fine for folks to register onsite if they forgot to preregister,” she said.

Nicolau said to find out more about the conference go to AlmondConference.com. “If you are looking to plan your visit and who you may want to stop and see, what sessions you want to attend, everything is at AlmondConference.com under the agenda tab,” Nicolau said.

Speaking about almonds, a new cost study for growing almonds has just been published. Go to coststudies.ucdavis.edu .
