The big Almond Industry Conference starts tomorrow at Cal Expo Sacramento and it runs through Thursday afternoon.

Jenny Nicolau is the Senior Manager, Industry Relations and Communications at the Almond Board of California, which hosts the big event. She noted that there'll be a shuttle service for attendees staying in downtown Sacramento hotels to the Cal Expo location.

“We've set up a shuttle service that will be running from the Hyatt Sacramento, so anybody who sta in the downtown hotel, anybody down there can walk their way to the highest Sacramento and in the front drive will be a shuttle. The shuttles are actually running all day every day, so starting on Tuesday and Wednesday, they begin at 6:45 in the morning and they'll be running continuously back and forth between the Hyatt and Cal Expo from 6:45 am to 6:30 in the evening.

Nicola said on Thursday, the shuttles also start at 6:45 am. “However, because Thursday sessions end early, the shuttles will stop running at 1:30 pm. You don't need a ticket. It's free to just walk onto the shuttle. It’s a really good way to move back and forth between the hotels and Cal Expo.

Again, it's all happening in Sacramento starting tomorrow and runs through Thursday. We'll be there and we’ll bring back many reports from that event.
