Take your kid hunting

That was one of those things that holds a special spot in my heart because that is a memory of something of my grandfather that we always did. That was a bond that was a special thing that we did all the time each and every year. You knew it was coming. You knew it was gonna be fun. You knew you were going to have some laughs you knew you were gonna do some hunting. God willing you were going to come across a nice buck that you could tell a story about for the rest of your life. Or that he could tell a story about sitting around with his buddies about his grandson or something that I can do sitting around with my buddies or share with my son today about an experience I had with my grandfather watching him bring in this nice buck and then being able to harvest and tag out on that particular day. For me it doesn't get any better than that.

Well you know it's almost a religion in families. Are you passing along the passion, the tradition to your son.

I certainly am and that's kind of why I brought that up. I wanted to lead into that. It's something that has gone back generations in my family and it's something that I'm hoping to carry forward with my son. And of course my son, at this point he's out of high school and he's moving forward with his life. But it's something that just like I look forward to it with my grandfather, he's looking forward to it with me and I look forward to it with him.
