This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Monday, Apr 1st. The trend is down across the board in Thursday's commodity trading. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Virginia McGathey.

McGATHEY ... "The wheat was a little bit lower. Also, I think that that was just taken over by the corn. I think 28% lower with the stocks from last year. So, we would have expected the market would have had a little bit of something a little bit higher, but that was not to be. Now, were above the $450. We did not take out the lows for wheat, but we are just kind of hanging here right now. Just waiting for some news, hopefully, that there's going to be some resolution with the U.S.-China trade war. That really has been difficult and kind of been playing on these markets. A lot of volatility ahead and I think this is just the beginning so hang on to your hat."
