Good friend and tennis adversary Nick Koontz was finishing up a match with me not long ago when I noticed a flyfishing logo in his tennis bag. What's that about I asked: "I met one of the top salt water flyfishermen in the world maybe twenty years ago named Winston Moore. I got introduced to Winston and 30 seconds after I met him, he told me to come to his house to learn how to do some casting. It was Easter Sunday. I had never met the guy and ever since then I have gone on three trips with Winston. We have gone all the way down the coast of Belize with two two guides and 2 boats and a cook a couple of times. I have been to a lodge in Belize with him. I have done business with him, I have done two subdivisions with him. He is a legend in the flyfishing world. He pretty much discovered salt water flyfishing. He's about 94. I've had an unbelievable lifetime friendship with him and he is a mentor in business and fishing.
