Tax experts have reviewed the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — the largest overhaul of the U.S. tax code in 30 years.

The question running thru many farms and ranches is: will it help us, and how?

Some experts say, the new tax provisions will provide significant benefits to farmers, but certain provisions limit the value for many producers.

Dan Newhouse, a U.S. representative from Washington says the tax reforms will benefit agriculture immediately.

Newhouse added, while a few details have yet to be realized, and some of the benefits will not take place immediately, he's confident this reform is good news for his district, and many other rural agriculture communities across the US.

By the way, Newhouse represents the 4th District of Washington, covering the central region of the state, home to more than 300 specialty crops.
