This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for April 11th. Overall on the week trade was slow, producers looking for more demand. Gregg Sanders goes over more details with this week's feeder cattle report.

Sanders "National slaughter cattle review for Thursday, April 7th 2016. On Thursday trade was moderate with good demand in the southern plains, Nebraska and the western Corn Belt. In the Texas panhandle compared to Tuesday, live sales sold steady at $1.33, with a few up to $1.34. Compared to last week in Kansas live sales sold steady live sales sold steady from a $1 higher from $1.33 to $1.34. In Nebraska compared to last week, live sales sold steady $1.34 to $1.36, with the bulk of sales at $1.36."

Chicago May Wheat ended last week up 3 ¼ at 460. May corn ended the day up 7 ½, at 361 ¾. Portland prices for soft white wheat of 10 ½ % protein for April were up 3 ¼- unch, ranging from 5-35 ¼ to 5-42. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for April were up 5 ¾, ranging from 5-37 to 5-40. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were 7 ½, ranging from 6-16 to 6-21. April Live Cattle closed the week up $1.95, at 134.50. April Feeder cattle were up $1.75, at 155.90. April class III milk was up 5 cents, at 13-77.
