January Potato Expo The Place To Be For Those in the Potato Industry

If you are involved in the potato industry, you should be planning to attend the 2016 Potato Expo in Las Vegas January 12th through the 14th. National Potato Council’s Executive Vice President and CEO John Keeling says it is an excellent place to meet and reconnect with others in the potato industry from around the globe.
Keeling: “They should attend because if they don’t — all the rest of their friends in the industry will be there and they’re going to be left out. There a lot of great reasons to attend, number one really is the number of people from the industry that are there and the amount of contacts you can make. You can see more people at the Expo in a half day than you can in a whole year in your normal life in the potato industry. We’ve got great speakers, got exciting programs, got a huge — 90,000 square foot trade show — so more than two acres of trade show activity. So there is a lot of reasons to come.”
Early bird registration ends tomorrow — December 23rd — so don’t delay. Keeling continues with more details on some of the Expo topics
Keeling: “We’re going to have presenters on the use of drones and regulations of drones in agriculture which are very timely topics. People can find out what they can and cannot do with their drone that they got for a Christmas present. There are some important topics relative to production that I think will be valuable. We’ve got great speakers in term of the sessions, so it is must attend for those folks in the potato industry.”
