Grains Up Across the Board and Volatile Day in Cattle Markets

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for June 26, 2015.
Weather concerns made for a positive day in the grains and there was volatility in the live and feeder cattle futures on Thursday. From the floor of the CME Group, Virginia McGathey shares
McGathey: “Thursday in the grain has the market is off to the races all the weather is the rage right now. Thursday in the live stock market has cattle limit down it looks like the rally is over and a big new wave of selling came in and has got the market down. Lot of concerns of it falling out of bed — I think that has already happened. Tomorrow will be extended limits so that should bring in a lot of volatility.”
