Grains All End Lower on Friday

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for June 8, 2015.
The grains ended Friday lower across the board. USDA Grain and Livestock Reporter Greg Sanders gives an weekly update on the region’s cattle markets.
Sanders: “Northwest Feeder Cattle Report for this week, we had 5,600 head trade. Compared to last Friday, feeder cattle were steady to firm. Trade was moderate this week and trade good as California supplies are getting tighter. Steers medium large frames #1s and #2s current FOB price 850 to 900 pounds $194 in Washington. Holstein steer large frame #2s and #3s current FOB price 350 pounds at $268 to $269 in Washington.”
Chicago July Wheat ended Friday down 6 and 3/4 cents at 5-17. July corn ended the day down 3 cents at 3-60 and 1/2.
Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein were steady to down 17 and 3/4 cents for August delivery of new crop ranging between 5-85 and 6-21 and 1/2. White Club wheat of ordinary protein had no price comparisons. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11.5 percent protein prices were down 6 cents at mostly 6-31 and 1/4. DNS wheat with 14 percent protein prices were down 4 and 1/4 cents at mostly 7-69 and 1/2.
August live cattle were down 87 and a half cents on Friday at 150.57 and half. August Feeder cattle were down 67 and half cents at 221.90. July class III milk was down 7 cents at 16-91.
