Leaky Waders

I will never forget on one of my outdoor shows ending up trout fishing in a freezing cold river, believe it or not in Georgia, at a very high altitude on the border with North Carolina. So my guide outfitted me with a pair of waders. It was with great excitement that I jumped into the stream fly rod in hand. I start working the fly rod and notice very quickly that my right foot is getting soaked. How could that be? I wasn't in enough depth at the water went over the top of my waders. Oh I get it. A leak. What could be done about that? Let's talk to Renée, a Sportsman's Warehouse Sales Associate. "Do you sell patching kits for waders?Yes we do. Three kinds. One of them as a piece of cloth that you can repair it with and the whole kit comes together with glue and a brush. The other one is like a fast repair. If you have a tear you can actually put it back together. You don't need material. It's kind of like if the tear was on a seam. It's an adhesive glue sealant. And then there's one with adhesive sealant. Prices range from $7-$10. Do they work? Yes very reliable.
