There is a great contest going on over in Kennewick, Washington. The Kennewick Sportsman's Warehouse is having a contest. They are looking for some angler to catch a new state record walleye. The old record was a 20.32 pound walleye caught March 5, 2014. Prior to that, the record was 19.3 pounds caught in 2007. So catch the new record and Sportsman's Warehouse will come up with 1500 bucks for your effort. Here is fishing sales associate Mark Bethmann: "From my understanding, the thousand dollars goes to the mounting of the state record paid directly to the taxidermist that mounts the fish and the fisherman will also receive a $500 Sportsman's Warehouse gift card.

So here's the drill anglers. Catch the record fish and get it certified. Show the certification to sportsman's warehouse and they will write a check for 1000 bucks to the taxidermist and your fish will be displayed in the Kennewick store for one year.
