 Muzzle loaders. I called Sportsman’s Warehouse firearms expert Al Strupp to get his opinion on muzzleloading. “I’m doing modern in lines and what you are talking about is the old school stuff. I don’t do any of that day be Crockett stuff. I sell one version of the old school muzzle loaders and that’s it. It is not an in-line. I think what you are talking about is the guys that go out and do the old school musket shoots, they put on loin cloths and I’ll let stuff. You can hunt with the old flintlock so you can use the old in lines, they are still feasible to hunt with. When you say muskets you’re talking about old school black powder rifles and they actually shoot black powder. I get people coming in all the time talking about black powder rifles. Unless you're one of the true enthusiasts, everybody has gone from black powder to Pyrodex, substitute black powder. You can still get true black powder but I know of only one store within a 200 mile radius that carries it. We don’t
