Washington Grown Begins Second Season

This Sunday, the Washington Farmers and Ranchers’ television series “Washington Grown” will debut its second season’s first episode. Washington State Potato Commission Director of Marketing and Industry Affairs Ryan Holterhoff says
Holterhoff: “Similar to last year, there will be 13 episodes. Each episode will cover or highlight a different commodity in the state. And really take the viewers all the way from that field to their plate and really get a better understanding of who is growing or raising that particular item. And then some fun and unique ways that it is being served in our state.”
The show can be seen Sundays on Northwest Cable News at noon and 8:30 p.m. So what if you don’t have Northwest Cable News but want to watch the series? Holterhoff says
Holterhoff: “Each epidsode is available on our website wagrown.com. So currently viewers or people interested would be able to go and see all of last season’s episodes up there right now. They are all there in their entirety. Then as each show is shown though out this season as soon as it airs on Sunday, then on Monday we will put it up and have it available for those people who were not able to turn in and see it on Northwest Cable News.”
The first season of “Washington Grown” was presented with a Bronze Telly Award in the information category of the Telly’s Film/Video Competition. The Telly Awards are a widely known and highly respected national and international competition.
