Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Tournament
Sevenstar Yacht Transport and sister company DYT Yacht Transport, the two most prolific yacht transport companies in the world, have announced that they will jointly sponsor the 34th annual Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Tournament in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this October 21-25.
Considered the "Super Bowl of Billfishing," the "Black & Blue" was started in 1981 and has grown from six teams with a purse of $10,000 to more than 150 teams with millions of dollars on the line. It consists of five days of hard-core fishing and camaraderie for approximately 1500 like-minded competitors coming from all 50 United States and over 15 countries world-wide. With the lively city of Cabo San Lucas as the backdrop, thousands of people crowd the marina walkways of Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza to watch huge black or blue marlin weighed in at the scales, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for spectators as well as participants.
