USPB Summer Meeting Recap

USPB Summer Meeting Recap

The United States Potato Board recently held its summer meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. David Fraser, USPB Vice President Industry Communications and Policy, shares an overview of that meeting.
Fraser: “The key takeaway from the USPB 2014 Summer Meeting was that programs continue on track very, very strong and bulling demand for potatoes and potato products especially in our international markets. Our consumer work is going very strong with our alliance with Hungry Girl. Several contests that encourage consumer participation and blogger participation and social media with potatoes is really generating some interest. So I would say the net takeaway from the 2014 USPB Summer Meeting is that programs carried out by the USPB are firing on all cylinders very successfully. We’ve got some great results — granted there is more we can do and there is always more we can accomplish — at this time I think our programs are turning out some incredible results.”
