"Winchester Bay, the bottom fish structure here is at mid-water depth, about 300 feet of water, but it is loaded with nice, nice ling cod. So most boats that leave out of Winchester Bay for a rock fishing trip target the ling cod 1st and there is a high success ratio on that I can almost guarantee that anybody who is with me, weather permitting, will catch their limit and that is not that common up and down the coast.
