Our purveyor of information, Josh Mills has found a podcast that he absolutely loves. "If you would like to find something on the Internet that gives you great insight on a lot of conservation measures, a lot of things that are going around in the Northwest, or even nationally and into Canada in terms of fly fishing, take a look at the Open Fly podcast. This is initiated by three guys I know here in Washington state, Kevin Burke, Derek Young and Kirk Warner. It is a really fun show where they are sitting around a coffee table BSing telling great stories. Each show tends to have at least some measure of conservation, whether it is something about salmon, steelhead, cold water trout, bass or something of that nature and then they are followed by some of the best stories around. They have great banter about guides that they have on the show. They call them guide stories such as what is the greatest or worst client you have ever had, or what's the funniest question you ever had in your boat. One client asked if the river went in a circle and if they would be getting out at the same place that they launched. OpenFlypodcast.com
