Spring Farming Days Fun for the Entire Family

Whether you are two or 92 years old — there is something for you to enjoy at the annual Spring Farming Days at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Pomeroy, Washington on April 5 and 6th.

Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum Secretary David Ruark shares more details about the weekend’s activities.

Ruark: “We’ve normally head about 50 of horses and mules doing old time farm work — all the way from plowing through seeding those two days on about 13 acres there at the fairgrounds. Besides that event, of course our Ag Museum we have two buildings — will be open with displays. We’ll have outdoor demonstrations and exhibits. We hope to have old antique vehicles, old farm machinery, old engines and several operating displays. There will also be the Blue Mountain Artisan Guild group that will have paintings and artwork on display and for sale.”

It is a great day for family fun and Ruark adds

Ruark: “It does not cost anything. It doesn’t cost anything to the public. Bring the whole family.”
