Cenex Tank of Thanks Program Rewards Good Deeds

Every day there are people doing good things in their communities and none of these good deeds, big or small, should go unnoticed.

 

That's why Cenex, the CHS energy brand, will continue the Tanks of Thanks program, encouraging people to nominate others to receive free fuel as a way to say "thank you" for making their communities a little bit better.

 

Akhtar Hussain, CHS refined fuels brand marketing manager shares more details.

Hussain: "CHS and Cenex retailers are kicking off the third year of the Cenex's Tank of Thanks Program which rewards people with free fuel for doing good deeds in their communities. Since 2012 the Tank of Thanks program has recognized more than 10,000 people who are doing their part to make their communities better places to live. Since the program's inception we have rewarded tanks of thanks nominees with $280,000 in free fuel. So really from our standpoint a huge success in the first two years of the program and are really looking to drive that success in the third year as well."

Do you know someone who deserves being recognized through this program? Hussain explains the nomination process.

Hussain: "Anyone can nominate or be nominated to win a tank of thanks. So nominating someone is very easy -- simply visit tankofthanks.com and give a very brief description of the act of kindness or community-contribution that person is doing. Each nomination will be posted online and entered for a chance to receive a $50 Tank of Thanks gift card from CHS."
