9-18 SS Walk the Walk
I cannot say it enough were overstate it. When you go into a retail outlet and you seek expertise and advice about any particular widget, you want to know that you are talking to someone who is knowledgeable.I called up Rob Lengkeek who is a sales associate at the Sportsman's Warehouse store in Meridian, Idaho and asked him about some of the rods and reels and lures that he recommends as we make the transition into fall fishing. Well, when you ask those questions, you assume that the responses you get are valid and logical. How better can you be reassured that the information you are receiving comes from someone who not only knows what they are talking about but walks the walk themselves. "Do you fly fish yourself? Absolutely. I mainly fly fish but during the steelhead season I pick up a bait rod here and there. I custom build all my own fly rods and fish everything from a three weight two and 11 weight fly rod. I chase anything from trout to smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, salmon and steelhead with a heavy rod, northern pike. So you fly fish for all of those fish? Absolutely. Tell me, when you make your own rods, what do you make them out of? A lot of times I buy graphite rod blanks from St. Croix and build my rods off of their blanks.
