Central Washington Livestock Reopens Pt 1
MORGAN ... "It was shut down for about 12-years. And, my wife and I, we're looking for a start-up business. I've been in the business for about 20-years."
And, over that time, Morgan says he's done a little bit of everything ...
MORGAN ... "I've got experience on both ends, you know, managing and running a sale barn and also connections in the buying world and so, that's kind of what gave us the idea to try to get this going and it would be a good fit for us."
But, will Central Washington Livestock be the only sale yard in that part of the state or are there others?...
MORGAN ... "You know, there's only two. There's one north of us about 80-miles and then the other one's kind of southwest and it's a hundred miles plus, so we're kind of out here by ourselves."
So, out of convenience sake, Morgan says they hope to bring in folks from all over the region ...
MORGAN ... "Yeah, we'll be able to serve, you know, the people all the way over into the Wenatchee-Okanogan Valley, up through there, that it's a long drive to the other two sales barns and it makes it a little easier."
Look for Central Washington Livestock on I-90, 5 miles east of Moses Lake.
