Just because I'm an expert hunter, does that make me a guide?

Patrick Kissel is a really interesting guy. He is a seasoned outdoorsman and guide but restricts his world to fishing. Could he guide Alaskan hunts, which is where he works, yes. But he has a philosophy that makes him stick to the world of anglers. "I don't do any hunting. As you know, I work with Outdoors International along with Got Fishing. I was going to try and do some guiding down in Mexico this winter. I had a connection. It was down in Sonora but I took this job instead and I am glad I did. No hunting. I guess I get asked that a lot. I hunt and fish in equal amounts. Like them both the same and would not give one up for the other but as far as guiding goes, I just feel like if you are on the river and somebody loses a fish or spook the fish, there are a lot of fish down there. In hunting, if your client misses the shot or spooks that animal, that might be the only one for the week. I would be fine with that but the difference is with the fish, you get a lot more opportunity versus hunting where you might get one and only one chance.
