CCALT's Fall Harvest Dinner

It’s the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust’s 20th anniversary and is having a fall dinner to celebrate the milestone. CCALT Development and Communications Director Alyssa Street shares more details
Street: “We are so excited. We are having our first annual fall harvest dinner on September 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The dinner will be held at the Denver BotanicalGardens at Chatfield in Littleton. We are going to have music, cocktails, some appetizers and follow that up with a family-style dinner.”
This event would be a great event for people who appreciate the beauty and splendor of the state as Street continues
Street: “Folks from more of the urban population to show them that conservation is very important to our lifestyle here in Colorado. People who enjoy being out-of-doors, people who enjoy local food from farms and ranches.”
In the past two decades the organization has conserved an amazing amount of ag lands as Street says one of the messages that the dinner participants will hear is
Street: “The fact that we conserved over 450,000 acres of Colorado which is basically more than the Rocky Mountain National Park System and the city of Denver and County combined. Just letting them know just how important it is for them to support our local agricultural producers and conservation.”
