Introducing the NCBA's New President
The NCBA's big gathering in New Orleans for 2019 is over. Nearly 9,000 attend 2019 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show.
One of the big things to happen during the event is naming a new President of the organization. This year, the honor falls to Jennifer Houston.
Houston and her husband, Mark have been active in the beef industry for more than 30 years, and she has been an NCBA board member since 1996.
She says she has a message for Cattlemen..
NCBA policy priorities were also established at the meeting. These priorities included 2019 work in Fake Meat; Trade and Market Access; Dietary Guidelines; and Regulatory Reform and Implementation.
The NCBA says the Trade show is just one part of the most important national event for anyone in the cattle business.
