**An analysis conducted by Informa Economics identifies the North American Free Trade Agreement as a key element for $1.2 billion in dairy exports going to Mexico.

Agnetwest.com reports, roughly 25 percent of U.S. dairy exports go to Mexico, the largest American dairy market.

Dairy sales to Mexico from 2012 to 2016 translates to $23.3 billion in economic output when considering industries LINKED to dairy.

**Bayer AG's plan to win antitrust approval to buy Monsanto has not satisfied U.S. officials, worried the $62.5 billion merger could hurt competition.

According to agriculture.com, the Department of Justice wants Bayer to divest more assets to satisfy the conditions and does not think the German chemical company's current proposal is sufficient.

Monsanto declined comment. A Bayer spokesman said the company doesn't comment on rumors, but added it remains in talks with regulators.
