This is the Agribusiness Update...I'm Greg Martin...

FMC Corporation announced an agreement to continue a partnership under the Roundup Ready PLUS Crop Management Solutions platform. The agreement keeps FMC's Authority brand and now includes FMC's Capture insecticide as qualified brands under Roundup Ready PLUS. FMC products within the Roundup Ready PLUS Crop Management Solutions program will now include: Authority First, Authority Assist, Authority MTZ, Authority XL and Authority MAXX herbicides, and Hero insecticide and Capture LFR liquid at-plant insecticide.

USDA says children are eating healthier meals at school thanks to the bipartisan Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. Congress is set to return from recess after Labor Day and turn attention to reauthorizing spending measures. USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack urged Congress to reauthorize the Act. USDA says the action has improved the quality of school meals and the health of children, garnering support from parents, teacher's doctors and kids themselves.
