Ex NHL hockey Player Rick Bourbonnais was vacationing in Florida when: "My wife and I, after hockey season, ended up going down to Fort Walton Beach in Destin, Florida and we also had some friends of ours from Canada come down and join us. He was a good friend of mine that I had played for the St. Louis Blues with and in Europe. On one occasion we went into town and this boat came in and he had a whole bunch of fresh blue crab that he had just caught so we thought what a great idea, will buy a bunch of these crabs, go back to the condo and cook them up and have a great meal. We bought a bushel of these things, brought them back to the condo, and of course cooking crabs you throw them in boiling water. Our wives got very upset with us killing these crabs the way they are supposed to be cooked so we decided that we were going go down to the ocean and let the crabs go into the surf and let them go on and live another day so, we took the whole bushel of crabs and it was just starting to get dark and we took them down to the water's edge and we unloaded the whole bucket of them into the water. Because they were in the refrigerator they were very still and they wouldn't move. So we let them go on their way and as we were walking back to the condo along came a family with 2 little kids. We said what are you guys doing? They said we are going crabbing and they had little tiny plastic buckets and shovels. My friend and I looked at each other and said this is too good so we said we think there's some crabs over here. So my buddy and I went into the water, reached in and grabbed the crabs, and start throwing them out onto the beach.
