One of my favorite correspondents just happens to be employed by Sportsmen's Warehouse in Puyallup, Washington. Keith Mcdowell is an expert in all things fishing so I thought I would call him up and ask him about bass fishing. "When are the bass on their nests? Around here they are starting to come in right now. Basically from now until the next few weeks. We have had, in crappie fishing, we have seen bass pushing into the shallows, so they are definitely pushing in right now, at least on this side of the mountains. We have actually had a largemouth grab about a 7 inch crappie and tear it off the hook.
