Grazing Conference Scheduled for Livestock Producers

If you are interested in learning more about rejuvenating your grasslands through grazing management there are several events happening soon that will provide more knowledge about grazing management and its benefits for ranches.
On May 6th at the Washington Family Ranch near Antelope, Oregon Pacific Northwest Center for Holistic Management will hold a Grazing Conference. Executive Board member Doug Warnock shares additional details
Warnock: “Then on May 7th we are having two concurrent workshops one on monitoring grasslands and one on planned grazing. So the second day is offered for those folks who want to stay over and learn more. ‘Identifying Management Practices that Regenerate Grasslands and Sustain the People Depending on the Land’ is be the focus of our keynote speaker Dr. Richard Teague of Texas A&M University.”
These events will bring plenty of information from a variety of sources.
Warnock: “The conference and workshops offer an opportunity to learn and get new ideas and meet with interesting people in a very pleasant and peaceful setting. Housing and meals are available and lunch is provided both days of the events.”
