This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Friday, Jan 25th. China trouble with pork values plays a significant role in Thursday trading. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Terry Roggensack.

ROGGENSACK ... "We're dealing with some pretty hefty supply short-term in the market and also, short-term, we're still seeing China pork values on the decline as smaller producers in China are exiting the industry and in liquidation of that supply on to the market is keeping prices short-term down. Weekly slaughter levels in the U.S., 7.5% last week above a year ago. We were 5.1% above a year ago the week before and the first week of January we were up 6.6% from a year ago."
