This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Thursday, October 5th SGrain market trading on Wednesday. With more from the Allendale Trading Desk, here's Steve Georgy ...

Georgy ... "Some of the focus thought today isn't going to be so much on day-to-day interaction is that it will be on next Thursday, USDA Supply and Demand Report. Will we get a change for yields? Will we get a change here as far as acreage? So, will they start recognizing some of these acreage shifting that is expected? So, when you look at that, maybe a little less corn acres, maybe more bean acres? We saw a lot of replant out there, but also a lot of ground that was left, that wasn't planted either. So, these numbers all have to come in and usually on this October report we do see some change for that. So, if there is a surprise for next Thursday, it may be more on this acreage issue more than anything else."
