This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for July 22nd. As we take a look in future prices in the grain market, we are seeing numbers all over the board. Oliver Slope explains more from the floor of the CME in Chicago with II Trader.

Sloup "It has been a tuff week for the bulls in the market, whether you are trading corn, soy beans, or wheat. All taking a hit, and we're seeing some of that play out today. Obviously some of that a little bit lighter on the volatility side of things. Lets start looking at that corn contract, September is the month we're looking at. We broke below $3.46 and $3.48 yesterday, which has been a long term support pocket going back to last May."

Chicago Sept. Wheat prices closed yesterday up 4 ¾, at 417 ¾. Sept. corn was dn 3 ¼, at 333 ¼. Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July had a mixed market up 4 ¾ and dn 14, ranging from 4-97 ¾ to 5-12 ¾. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for July were up 5 ¾, ranging from 4-92 ½ to 5-02 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were also mixed up 1 ¼, ranging from 5-66 ¼ to 5-81 ¼. Aug Live Cattle dn $1.90, at 107.45. Aug Feeder cattle taking on the chin today, dn $4.22 ½ to finish the day at 134.52 ½. July class III milk was dn 6 cents at 15-27.
