This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for April 25th. Grains finishing the week down big, cattle feeling the ripples as futures continue to drop in both live and feeder. Let's go to Greg Sanders as he sheds more light on this topic the with weekly Feeder cattle Review.

Sanders "National Cattle Slaughter review for Thursday, April 21st, 2016. Trading has been very light, on light demand in the Texas Panhandle and Kansas this week, not enough sales for a market test. Trading was limited in Nebraska on Thursday on light demand, not enough sales this week to establish a market. But a few available live sales Thursday ranging for $1.25 -$1.27. With the $1.25 mostly for mostly 15-30 day delivery."

Chicago May Wheat prices were down 28 ¾ last week, at 465 ¾. May corn ended the week dn 12 ¾, at 371 ¼. Portland prices for soft white wheat of 10 ½ % protein for April were dn 19-unch, ranging from 5-27 to 5-75. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for April dn 26 ¾, at 5-46 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were dn 18, ranging from 6-15 ½ to 6-35 ½. April Live Cattle closed Friday dn $1.77 ½ at 124.42 ½. April Feeder cattle were dn $1.50, at 147.75. April class III milk was unch, at 13-65.
