I'm Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for October 9th. We saw gains across the board in the grain market today, corn and wheat numbers gradually climbing. Oliver Sloup shares his thoughts, from the floor of the CME with II Trader.

Soup- "Happy Thursday to you, from the floor of the CME with II Trader with your grain market update. Profit across the board today which is to be expected after failing to break out above key resistance levels, both yesterday and the overnight session and the early morning session. Let's start looking at the corn market, corn testing the 200 day moving average at 398."

Chicago December Wheat ended yesterday down 5 1/4, at 510 1/2. December corn ended the day down 4 1/2, at 39 3/4. Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for October, were down 5 1/4, at mostly 5-49 1/2. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for October were down 4 1/2, at mostly 6-20 1/2. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for October were down 1 3/4, at mostly 6-59 even. October live cattle closed yesterday up $1.50, at 130.85. October Feeder cattle were up $3.07 1/2, at 188.02 1/2. October class III milk was up 13 cents, at 15-74.
