Wheat Follows Other Grains Higher on Friday

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for September 8, 2014.
Both corn and soybean markets were up on Friday and wheat went along for the ride higher. USDA Grain and Livestock Reporter Greg Sanders shares last week’s regional cattle market update.
Sanders: “Northwest direct cattle we had 2800 head trade this week compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $5 higher. The lower corn futures market and higher CME feeder prices aided the market. Feeder steers mediums to large frames — 1s and 2s — for current delivery FOB 900 to 950 pounds $213 to $214. Steer calves 600 to 650 pounds for fall delivery $249.50 to $252.50 and 800 to 850 weights at for fall delivery $209 to $210.”
